My SV, although being used constantly late summer when I bought it and living inside, has been moved outside to live since October and has been going unused for long periods of time, sometimes up to 3 weeks. That said, I am very impressed with how it copes. It never misses a beat, always starts without any issues and even the clock is always correct.

I tend to make sure I always turn it on and let it run at least every 2 weeks, and to try and ride it on occasions just to get it going.

Got me thinking, what is the longest time period it should be left without use, and when will the battery start to die etc?
