Default Re: Bike cameras

Right - have some free time on this birthday morning to fiddle with the camera (CVLS-DV20).

I've played with it away from the bike, and so far I'm impressed. The build quality seems good, easy to operate, comes with a very enjoyable comic book (engrish manual), and it's definitely not as big as I thought it would be. The video quality at walking pace is very good. I also like how easy it is to download the video files. It basically acts as a memory stick and all you do it plug it in and copy the .avi files to hard drive - simples. The supplied mounting points are pretty poor I must say, and it's looking like I may end up using gaffa tape to secure it somewhere. The helmet strap does fit, but I don't want it mounted on my helmet.

I should have some on-bike footage later this afternoon!
