the fz6 wont rock your world with the extra 20bhp, the extra 60 will on the thou, i looked at the shiver 750 but so glad i got the thou when i went to the isle of man the day after i bought it, i have a sneeky suspision you will wish you "done it properly" and got the thou if you get the fz6,
ps the thou is the most comfy bike ive rode in a long time ,bang on on motorway and no issues with it through town
