MBK those are my exact thoughts too, but TBH a potential fatal accident you won't be able to get the bike onto a dyno, so it would go to some sort of crash investigator who would check physically IMO.

Mej (maybe) found it cheaper to do the accelerated access test than to get his GSXR restricted for 6 months.
I think you'd be OK with yours because it's only a little bike, it's plausible even to the most determinedly retarded copper that a 250 might make <33bhp.
