Default Re: Ohlins fork spring spacer

Cheers for the replies guys,

I'll be fitting my springs today, going to buy some plastic piping from B and Q, then as YC says, measure the length of both sets of springs and make a spacer to equal them out if needed.

Different size spacers are going to give different preloads (essentially the same as getting preload adjusters but with more hassle) so the ride height at the front can be altered if needed.

Wahwah, if you dont mind me asking what weight are you? How does the bike feel with 15w oil? I'm going to try 10w to begin with as it would seem I'm comparibly lighter than most of the guys talking about linear springs who are pushing 15-20 oils, so it'd be good to get a comparison of different oils with similar springs.
