A lot of people like the 36 Talas for a good front end . If you install a longer rocker you get a very sublime rear end for a lazier action . My mate has a Trek Session 77 and the rear on that thing just doesn`t care , it`s soaked up some serious square edged hits and he has a bad back and doesn`t notice half the time .

I prefer a heavier bike for serious gravity duties , feel a damn site more planted , My Orange was in the 40 odd lb range and hammered through most stuff , my On-One 456 gets pinged off a lot of stuff and makes for an interesting ride .
