After my insurance company had written my bike off over the phone, it now transpires they want to repair it.
Apparently it will cost them £2000. The list price of the bike is £3450.
SO i'm obviously really happy that my beloved SV will be ressurected.
Feels a bit strange though. Bad omen kind of feeling. Thoughts?
When it's all sparkly again I might consider a part-ex for something. Bit bothered about its value following an accident and all that.
Apparently they are replacing the front forks, all fairings, the exhausts and other random bits that have broken off.
So surely it's gonna be just like it was? I can't see them repairing it if there is ANY chance of frame damage, knowing if something did happen to me after I would be suing them for everything they are worth...
