So after a half hearted attempt at selling my bike last year, and another summer of it sitting in the garage far too often it has to go.
The Bike:
It's a 2006 SV650 SK6 in red. It has heated grips, pyramid fender extender, hamicad tail tidy, LED indy's & is currently sporting a seat cowl. All original parts are included with the sale (including the pillion seat) as well as a Suzuki top box & mount specifically designed for the SV.
Although showing obvious signs of daily use it is in my opinion very tidy for its age and mileage.
The History:
I have owned this bike from 2007, during which time it has been garaged each and every night.
It was used daily for my London commute up until November 2008 and has never been dropped or indeed let me down. It starts first time, every time and never fails to leave me smiling.
Current mileage has just ticked round to 20k, Chain & sprockets changed at 14k. Serviced every 4k. Tyres have about another 1000 miles left in them.
Taxed until September, MOT'd until April 2011.
The Bad Bits:
The only blemish is where it popped off the paddock stand before I fitted cotton reels. This left a mark on the swing arm as shown in the pictures. The service book was lost during our house move but you can see that it has been regularly looked after and are more than welcome to poke at my oily bits to check.
It does need the valve clearances checking at its next service.
The Price:
I'm asking £1950 on MCN but would happily see it go to a good home for £1800.00. Both the bike & I are currently located in Cannock, Staffs.
