Well done on going Bri.
I haven't been since I was 18, as I have a complete phobia of needles.
I snapped a tooth last year, after a few weeks, I finally made an appointment at a Dentist that supposedly did 'pain free' dentistry.
I explained my fears before I went to them, took a valium tablet before I went, and was still in tears in the waiting room.
When I went in, the dentist was very good - she took xrays (that was fine), had a look in my gob, told me what work would be required, and then said she could get an anaethetist who would just knock me out so I would not know what was going on.
That sounded ok, until she explained how the anaesthetic would be administered - via a NEEDLE in my hand.
At that point I left, I got an email the next day with a quote for 1 filling, and a clean up - £1600!!!
12 months on, and I still haven't done anything about treatment. I think fundamentally I need to sort something out about my needle fears before anything else...
Good luck on the day, I am sure you will be fine
