There will always be comments like; 'if Rossi wasn't injured' etc, well he chucked himself at the scenery so was injured and thus missed races, Lorenzo wasn't and raced at or near the front. Similar things were said about Schwantz's championship in '93 when Rainey got injured and more recently when Doohan duffed himself and Criville won. And they rode proper GP bikes too

Nicky Hayden was criticised as an unworthy champion which I found strange, he did the job, stayed on the bike and scored the points he needed to be on top. Of course in the past the championship was decided differently, maybe it should change again - only wins count?
