Ist up is the rear shock. What works best on a 2006 SV650 ? Ive heard of some guys using zx6 zx10 gsxr rear shocks do they work? Or if i go for an after market shock
which is the most cost efective option.
Secondly front forks. What is the best Fork upgrade options. Again ive heard of changing the springs and something like welding the cartridges up and re drilling
them is a cost efective option. Is this true.
Hitting false neutrals. I heard of a modification that can be done to prevent hitting false neutrals, what is this.
Any advice on the above or other worthy advice will spot on.

Forget using a GSXR, ZX10 etc shock as they dont work that well on the road and for racing are nowhere anywhere close to being any good.
Nitron shocks are very good value for money from £450 upwards.
Fork wise - Racetec emmulators, springs, oil and air gap to suit you. Dont weld anything!.
False neutrals - shouldnt happen on K5 onwards but if it does then look at rearsets as poor quality ones can stick making it hard to shift gear.
TBH if your racing dont cut corners on suspension. The SV650 handles like a dream when well setup and is the main modification that you can do that will turn the bike into a bike capable of winning races.
