Right, well first trial lesson only lasts 30 minutes (this is a compulsory part of the NPPL, but we were actually up for 40 minutes) cost £65 all equipment supplied. my second lesson proper tomorrow, will be £95 fo an hour. You have a set syllabus and must complete at least 25hours flying. This is the minimum amount of hours however, so dependent on age you may take longer (older = longer apparently !) you have a few multi choice exams and if you reach a certain level with all the above you pass and get your NPPL. I have budgeted about £3000 allowing for extra lessons and exam fees.
The goal I have set myself is to fly the channel by the end of 2012.
