PS these way outperform snow tyres (I have winter tyres fitted to my continental cars and have chains as back up...) and also work on ice as well as snow. Better than the snow socks as you can continue on the tarmac if it clears for a couple of miles (at reduced speed, not 70 mph! ) unlike snow socks.
