Heated Gloves are better. Heated gloves and muffs even more so .
I've got a not cheap pair of Hein Gericke winter gloves(Gortex, insulated double cuff blah blah), heated grips and muff but when the weather decides to really take the biscuit, I then do wish I had heated gloves.
Thatsaid, the muffs are Oxford ones which I've had a while now so are well used...
I'd been really tempted to fork out the money for heated gloves during some of the really cold days we've had this year but the fact I already owned two pairs of heated grips , just made actioning the thought a
wee bit more difficult
