Default Re: Tips wanted on respray

My tip

Use a professional painter.

He has access to better kit, are you really going to spend a fortune on a decent compressor, evaporator/regulator, gun. an air fed mask. a decent booth that will dry off without blooming the paint, fly track or dust

OK you can save bucks by doing the prep, but have you got random orbit and DA sanders. He can source the paint cheaper than you too, plus the panel wipe, stopper, filler primer, isolator, plastic primer, lacquer, etc.

Then have you got a nice new lambswool mop to polish it with etc.

Oh you any good at spraying, when was the last time you tried etc. Don't really want to practice on your panels.

Remember nothing looks worse than a sh1te paint job. everyone can see it. you then need to practice excuses.

1) I bought it cheap because the last owner bodged the paint.
2) I had it sprayed down the blind school
3) Owner has payed me to write it off for him

You get the picture
