I really want to try something like this. I just want to ride a bike 'off-road' really, starting easy then building to trickier stuff, but i dont want to have to get into racing/competing.

Ive been looking at DR350's on ebay, would this be a good idea to start on? It will be riden on normal roads as well, maybe a winter-hack type idea, but ill be keeping the SV for proper stuff.
