Default Re: degree, quickest to do

All degrees (as far as im aware) take 3 years, and you can only get funding for 1 from the government, why waste 3 years on a pointless degree when you could spend 3 years doing a degree that interests you.

If you do a degree you do not enjoy, you will not finish/pass it - TRUST ME ON THIS

I did a degree i really enjoyed and in the 3rd year I got sick of doing all the work etc, and that was in a subject i enjoyed, in the 3rd year i was spending 10 hours a day studying and doing my final year project / dissertation, and believe me it was a tuff time.

you say you need any degree at any grade, it may be worth giving them a ring to check, as getting a 3rd in a degree is worst than not having a degree, most students that graduate with a 3rd have to think of a way to blag away 3 years of their life on their CV pretending they never went to uni (harsh but true)

Its also worth noting that after the age of 21, A-levels and UCAS point mean nothing as you are classed as a mature student, you just need to be able to justify you going on the course. I only had a handful of GCSE's but I had worked with computers/networks for years
