What an absolute **** for doing that... seriously. You'd only just passed your test ffs. Does he want to make you fall off straight away?
Make sure you go out on your own for a bit before you get with people who will ride like that so you know your limits properly, otherwise you're going to push too hard too soon whilst following and go flat on your face.
