Resurrecting this thread, as I just bought a street extreme 2nd hand and was planning to fit it this weekend, but I think the seller forgot to include the clamp when posting it, that he said was included so may have to postpone fitting.

Anyway my question was about the clamps. I have the end can and the link pipe, obviously there should be a clamp that fits around the link pipe and tightens down to join the link pipe to the original header. Is that correct?

And then, my questions are, what joins the end can to the link pipe? And what is the 'spring clamp' for (the ~3cm spring type thing)?
