I got a friend to help me put the topbox mount on my CB500 (I didn't have the tools at the time). Finally got the cussed thing in place as it was a tight fit, you really had to push it to get the thing lined up with the holes in the frame. He tights up the bolt, says "I'm going to give it a final turn!" and shears it off.

Now what? Well, he says, try getting some metal epoxy type stuff and GLUING the bolt back together, at least to get it out. That was a laugh, I can tell you. I rigged something up to hold the thing together for a day so it could set, came back the next day and sure enough the glue was still soft and nothing happened. In the end I just gritted my teeth and got some screw extractors, it came out in two minutes.
