My mistake the pump doesnt prime, when the key is turned the throttle valves do their calibration.
Ive tested these areas so far last night.
Signal relay faulty, (indicators go fast instead of 'normal', also i did find it also a relay+diode for the side stand)
Fuel pump relay working, (12v connected/disconnected and it closes/open)
Sidestand switch working, (connector check for open/closed continuity when moving it up and down to connect/disconnect switch)
Clutch switch working (The starter motor turns the engine over)
The big one! - The tip over sensor is faulty (c23 error), there is no resistance between the two pins at either end on the sensor when its disconnected and tested for 'ohms'. Funny thing is dealer mode didnt pick it up! - all dealer mode did was go into the tps adjustment mode with no codes!
Hopefully this will solve it and fingers crossed it aint the fuel pump. now i have to source a sensor. It seems that leaving a bike sitting around for 2+ years allows the electrical gremlins to get in
btw can i test the fuel pump works/start her, without the tip over sensor?
Can i test for voltage at the tip over sensor plug / fuel pump plug? - i suppose the tip over sensor would have to be working to allow the power to go to the fuel pump to prime it therefore stopping me from testing it fully (ahh, i could do a continuity test somehow!)
