Take the wheel out again, put the spindle back in but don't tighten anything, make sure the clamp on the right fork is properly loose and the spindle moves freely in it, loosen the clamp bolts on each fork in turn and spin it round by hand, if it it's bent you'll see the end of the fork describe a circle.
