Because the suspension is not the same - thus the right spring to give the correct rate at the wheel will not be the same.

Pointy shock is approx 7/8mm shorter and is not a good fit on the Curvy.

And before anyone says this can be fixed with different length 'dogbones', it's rarely a good move as that puts the linkage in a different part of the rate curve.
