OK yeah I can see if you do a course then the prices are similar. However, I was thinking doing CBT, buying 125 and learning, passing restricted licence and then selling 125 for close to what was paid for it would be cheaper? This option is not available for DAS due to the need to be accompanied on the 500.

An informative thread that is relevant as I have a friend interested in getting his license at the moment and is asking for advice.
