no, you get chrome, plastichrome and temporarychrome, generally they use the last two, I hate these things with a passion, OK they are cheap and are designed to catch the eye of the 17 year old looking for some "bling", but I've seen maybe 20 of these things and the conversation is always the same.
Punter "I've just passed my test so am looking at a bigger bike, what's this worth?"
Me " year old chinese thing, finish going (badly) bearings on their way out, £5-600"
Punter " but I paid £1,400 for it new"
Me "yeah well if you'd greased it when new and protected the cheap finish from new, it might have been worth a grand".
I hate disappointing anyone about bikes, but buying one of these things normally guarantees it'll happen, quite frankly it's a bit of a liberty calling them weatherproof
