One is too many. They kill almost as many fledgling birds as cats each year.
When a group of them, and their hangers-on (usually crows), start making a racket you can bet some poor scrawny thing that's just been encouraged out of it's nice cosy nest is being murdered. Or a wood pigeon that just happened to be in the wrong place. Hateful things. Thankfully the dog chases them when she spots one in the garden but she's not out there all the time.
Can you tell I don't like them?
