If the air box pressure sensor is what is described as (intake air position sensor - IAPS) we did test that with a multimeter following the tests shown in the workshop Manual and it seemed fine, we didn't however take the bike for a run with it disconnected, but may be worth disconnecting it and trying again.
We swapped both coils over from my bike and this didn't stop the issue so I think they can be ruled out.
My pal is just about ready to throw the towel in and leave it at a main dealers really gutting to not be able to find the problem though as I got him into bikes and said if he got the same bike as me we could sort any problems out as we can swap parts
Also im guessing a main dealer would charge many hours labour re-checking all the things we have.

We need to check the fuel jets still, but its starting to look a bit too "technical" for us.
