Afternoon chaps,

New to the forum and joined as I am thinking of buying an sv650. Hope you don't mind me joining and firing questions out but I want to understand more about the bike before I make a purchase. To give a little history, I currently ride a 1999 triumph sprint st and last night test rode a nice 2003 sv650.

Like the bike, but I was concerned about how snatchy the throttle was. It was literally on/off. A quick search on here showed a few things can be done such as cable adjustment and tps reset. I did notice there seemed to be no free play in the throttle of the one i test rode. However will it always be fairly snatchy, and if so does the sv make a decent commuting/town bike?
