After a few weeks of getting as much info on SV's as i could, i started looking at bikes, and i found this one literally on my doorstep:
she's an SK1, 18000 on the clocks, 3 owners, and generally in fantastic condition. Has been Alpha DOT'd. has a Scorpion Can (which sounds immense!), heated grips, Fender extender, rear hugger and double bubble screen.
I had my Wifes uncle check the bike over for me as he has been riding, building and racing Motorbikes ( inc SV650's ) for longer than i have been breathing!
the only niggle he could find with the bike was the headstock bearings, and the front brake could do with bleeding. Not bad really considering he is an utter perfectionist!
Current plans are to give her a service, Oil and filter, air filter and Plugs.
Bleed brakes
Replace Headstock bearings
Pass my test and Ride her!!!
