A US30 should be more than enough.
I've got the US20 and got 2day clothes plus a spare set, kettle, fuel and other bit and pieces in for AR and had the tent and sleeper strapped on top.

The newer ones look good for the money, its maybe an investment for myself at the winter. Also the old style straps will stay on at over a ton with a tent on top
