SV's make great track bikes. I frequently get outdone by Binky on one and more recently Red Herring despite being on a more powerful bike.

Yeah I've done track days for a few years now and I've learned it's not what you ride, but how you ride
I currently share a GSXR 750 srad with my girlfriend, the bike's fairly standard other than braided lines/better pads and decent rubber (currently Diablo Corsa) and I can stay with much newer and faster bikes in the fast group, which sometimes they don't like
I can't wait to get an SV though...and for some sunshine again!
