There were some issues last year with Bekos catching fire!
I have one in the garage, and it is fine - apart from when the door open alarm broke and stayed on permanently - nothing that a pair of wire cutters couldn't fix

link - apparantly it was the firidge-freezers, if you are just buying a freezer you will be fine - probably...
