I wouldn't let that put you off. Providing your original kit is in reasonable condition you can sell it for what you will pay for the GSXR stuff. Thanks to Minitwins racing SV front ends are still in demand where GSXR bits are two a penny.... When you add the cost of upgrading the SV forks into the equation it's a no brainer, especially if you can twiddle the spanners yourself.
