I have a pair or NRG's and they leaked in the crotch and left thigh which was a shame as they are quite comfortable. Rather than sending them back I treated them with some
Nikwax TX Direct waterproofing goop.
Seems to have done the job but I've not been caught out in a big downpour yet. Maybe ill go stand in the shower and put them to the test!
