Default Fan switch failed.

I discovered a problem today with my bike, after I worked so hard making her lovely this last few days too.

My engine temperature started to rise dramatically while sat in traffic on the way to Hospital, no problem thought I, the fan will kick in soon.

It did not, it seems that the anti-hot switch thingie has broken. I have found that the anti-hot switch does not supply current to the fan, but both the fan and the fuse are working fine. This means that I now have to buy a new anti-hot switch and then drain my radiator to fit the thing.

In case you are wondering what I am talking about, it is the anti hot switch that sits in the radiator and switches the fan on when the radiator gets too hot. I am sure that it has a technical name, but I don't know what it is, although I imagine that it is some kind of Thermistor that controls fan function, but do not know how it should work. So from now on, it is called a Anti-hot Switch! Damn thing...
