Hi all,
The BBC forecast I've just seen, and the Metcheck website, are now currently predicting continuous rain for Monday.
I'm conscious that the Voxes have planned, and probably shopped for, their BBQ - but however much I love riding my bike, the prospect of a soggy day in the rain doesn't make me happy.
With this in mind, I just called Jon and he very kindly said that he's still planning to be at the meeting point in Southend for anyone who wants to meet - even if it's just to go straight to the house for some food. But he also understands that those making a longer journey in the rain may decide to stay at home in the dry.
For those who are departing from the Ace, it might be an idea to have your own map / directions with you! I'll probably decide on Sunday evening... Fingers crossed the forecast changes...
