Default Re: Anyone into air rifles?

Have a BSA Ultra multishot, it's alright. If I had the time again I'd have bought the (also 2nd hand) logun axsor that was the same price.

It's a nice rifle, really compact, fair accurate, reasonably close to legal limit for a stock 'un. However it doesn't feel as slick as the decades old BSA airsporter I've got, and the comb of the stock is perfect for iron sights. The design of a spastic on a rifle supplied with no sights and intended for use with a suppressor...

Only things I've buggered about with is adding a twink suppressor and a harris bipod, can't remember what scope is on it but it came with it, is too big an objective lens and has lots of parallax error. Don't go for bigger than 40mm...

All that said I'm still happy to have a confident crack at dinner from 40 yards with it, does the job.

And what you really need is to take up scuba diving too, which since you've got the air cylinders anyway makes both hobbies effectively free. Er. Honest.
