Well its so eaay to jump on a docotr an say they arent doing their job when they have procedures to follow. Find it whighly unlikely that for three years you have had this problem and they havent referred you to a specialist. You say he says its probably caused by nerve damage but hasnt referred you. Sorry but that doesnt add up as if he thought this he would refer you as all other avenues have been exhausted.

As far as im awarw there is no self referral to a neurologist. So either go private or demand to be referred.
