Well i really done it now

, i spent saturday afternoon getting my pointy Sv back to standard, and today(Tuesday) i sold it back to my local Suzuki dealer i'd originally bought it from. The best they could offer was a paltry £2750 cash(cheque), its was a '61-reg, 3596miles on the clock, black Sv650s. He said i could get £3200-3300 if i were to trade it in for something else(they did have an '08 plate GSR600 but its lacking enough bhp for me and i'd read reviews they were a budget bike too-suspension etc), but tbh new bikes just bore me, i like my older bikes, say pre-2004, so i was just looking for a cash sale.
Anyway, on way home i had zero regret, never had that with a bike before as i generally get very attached so i know it was right to sell.
I owe £1200 so that leaves me with £1550 to get something interesting(i have alot more £££ but not interested in having another bike worth £3-4k again. I did like my old Bandit 1200 i originally traded in(bit gutted now

)
So thats me done for now, my mate has offered use of his Ducati 900SS for a week or two as he's off to watch the TT so it'll just sit there otherwise.
I have a few bikes in mind up to £2k for my next one,
ZX-7R,
Ducati Monster M800 or 1000(bit hopeful...

)
CBR600F,
Hornet or Fazer, 600 or 1000.
So we'll see....the Sv wasn't for me, if nothing else, owning it taught me a few things that i didn't realise were so important to me in a bike.
