yes they look good but its function over form that is the main criteria. i could have made them any shape i wanted but it's keeping the material usage down but still functional that is the hard part. the ideal situation would have been a complete band around the swingarm but the cost involved in material alone would not be viable unless people were prepared to spend upwards of £65 a pair.
i settled on 3mm stainless as its just strong enough to withstand monkey fitting but light enough to be cost effective. any heavier requires counter boring and machining to which i don't have the time or funds to invest.
they wont be perfect but i can guarantee you you will be happy and happy for years to come due to not having to get the hammer out
ooohhh and if you do bend them then you should not have tools
