Default Southern 100 2012

So I'm now back and recovered from a 10 hour journey back home.

As everyone at GM knew and will have heard (if you were still drunk from the Saturday) I was on the mad dash south for the Port. As some know its about 130 miles to Lancaster/ Heysham, I got from Castle Douglas to the Port in about 2h 10m including fuel stops!
The boat was late departing and we got held at Douglas as port was running late! Eventually got up to Peel for about 7pm, bloody hell I was knackered.

With the Southern being evening Races (except for the Thursday), the days were spent exploring the Island, of course the Mountain Circuit was done several times (tis rude not to ) and I went round on the Monday morning and the Wednesday taking it easy and getting pics like this around the course.

Right I'm off for a shower!
