Re: Curvy lock jiggling and removing mirrors and indicators?
In no particular order:
Buy a complete LHS wing mirror & rear indicator. ebay should have a selection, as will the "for sale" area on here.
On the inside of the fairing where the mirror is, there should be a triangular panel secured with a sincle screw. Take that out, and you can see 2x 6mm headed allen nuts that go through the front sub-frame and hold the wing mirror in place.
The rear indicator is likely a 10mm nut or two on the other side of the mudguard (look underneath), and a wiring clip under the rear pillion seat.
You can drill a hole in the under-side of the exhaust pipe and use that to bolt in a generic db-killer / baffle, that's what I had done when I got mine, still sounds nice, but no problems with quiet track days or MOTs. Some people have also polished off the "not for road use" marks as they're rarely very deep.
For the lock, add some motor oil and see if it gets any better. Try both keys, as often one will be fresher than the other.
