Oops!

I have nothing to add to the technical side of things, just a little message to say that I hope that your bruises fade fast and you can still get back on the bike with confidence. A little drop like that does knock you a little, but as you gain experience, you will learn that the bike is quite a robust little beastie and can put up with all sorts of abuse. On my first ride after passing my test, I promptly dropped my bike in a car park, while moving backwards very slowly! The other half was in fits, once I managed to get back on my feet.

Indicators and bar ends do take the worst of it because they stick out, but they are simple to repair or replace. Ride safe and make sure that your boot is on the peg properly next time.
