My old 1983 CB250RS had clocked up 192,000 miles by the time I gave it away to a mate. It was given to me as a knackered old hack with a mere 135,000 on the clock - I firstly ran it up and down between Worksop and Bedford at weekends for a year or so, then I ran it back and forth between Bedford and Slough or Harrow for 2 years as a commuter (a round trip of 100 miles a day, five days a week) and then a few trips to Scotland to see my then girlfriend, and then some more down to Wiltshire when she moved, plus some more mileage outside of work. For the last year of ownership I was running a ZZR1100 that clocked up above average mileage too. I used to spend an awful lot of time in the saddle.
