I read the above about your deployments, Germany and ceremonial duties lifestyle and wonder if this is your Thunderace.
This was mine, I sold it in 2002/3 to a squaddie who used it to do stupid amounts of miles between working in Germany and his family home with 21 Sigs at RAF Colerne.
