Re: New springs or whole GSXR setup?
it's all worked out and will involve new marker washers being made then a bracket formed to the swingarm profile being bolted onto the marker washer. once done it will take the exact same brackets that sit underneath the pointy ones. doing this will result in me having a modular system of different permutations for both bikes.
the disc that holds the washer will be the same for both but one with 8 magnets for later bikes.
i have already had custom sensors made that have a full length cable and will be terminated with an OEM connector so no need to butcher the OEM speedo drive which can be sold to recoup some of the cost of the new one.
i have done some rough calculations and it's working out at around £70 for the full kit. if i get barckets and discs at a good price then the kit will be cheaper.
