Surprised not.
There is an ideal of European integration which, at it's heart, has benefits for all member states, trade agreements and international cooperation on many subjects simply makes sense for all involved.
But it isn't this one. And it never will be.
I don't just want the UK to leave, I want the whole vile, self serving, corrupt business smashed into nothing. The Commission, the Parliament, all of the EU institutions are hopeless, wasteful, mired in nepotism and corruption - if they ever had the cause of service to the citizens of EU states as their aim, that's so utterly forgotten as to be laughable now.
The whole rotten edifice must go, it's far far too broken ever to be made into the useful notion it may once have been.

You are not entirely pro EU then?
I have to agree.

It is based on unsound economics and even worse,it is fundamentally undemocratic. It needs to either revert to a loose trading zone,or it will rip itself apart with much gnashing of teeth and possibly worse.
