am i missing something here, the front axle of curvy passed through the spacer in the right hand fork yes? then through another spacer up to the wheel yes ?, then through the bearings and onto the other side of the wheel, in my case my own spacer, then passes into the thread in the left fork, ok so far, then after that there are 8 mm bolts that clamp the axle in place after tightening the axle, how then is the axle clamped by the 8mm bolts, if the axle passes through spacer? surely the the 8mm bolts are clamping the spacer not the axle, ! , we note with interest that the pointy front axle is a very different design, allowing the actual fork to clamp the axle using one 8mm bolt, am i being thick,
