Spent 24 hours in the forest on the high ground we fled to from the hotel(which was beach front). Had just the clothes on our backs initially until some brave folk ventured into the wrecked buildings to scavenge supplies.
Got some snaps of that and the aftermath once we ventured back down to sea level. Not good but makes you realise how lucky we were. Our group of nine all came home. Around 5000 didn't just from the patong area alone.
