I understand the complaint with regards to the hire company not fulfilling their part of the deal, but this is for your company to sort out, but for you to turn work down is just not on.

If you were very tall or very fat then I could understand you need a specific car.
I have had many hire cars where I was driving to Scotland for months on end and I have been through Kias, Polos, etc etc etc etc and never complained once.

I see where he's coming from... you start with a company car, then that perk gets taken off you "it's ok we'll sort you a suitable hire car" then you get crap.
Fine have a whinge. If you're in a position where you have useful skills then don't let them take the p*ss, the attitude "just be glad you've got a job" is fine but that doesn't extend to letting employers walk all over you.
